HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — September 6, 2026 — Lionheart Health, Inc. today shared previously reported preclinical and early clinical case-study findings supporting the development of SkinStim™ and introduced the expanded SkinStim™ Plus multimodality skin-rejuvenation protocol.
SkinStim™ Plus may combine:
- Precision bioelectric stimulation
- Bioelectric-enhanced platelet-rich fibrin (PRF)
- Red-light photobiomodulation
- Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF)
- Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) for facial toning

The coordinated protocol is designed to support healthier-looking skin, local circulation, facial muscle tone, hydration, elasticity, collagen structure and improvements in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven texture.

Bioelectric-Enhanced PRF
PRF is prepared from a patient’s own blood and contains platelets, fibrin and naturally occurring signaling factors. Within the SkinStim™ Plus protocol, PRF may be prepared and applied by qualified healthcare professionals, subject to appropriate clinical supervision and applicable regulations.
The SkinStim™ Plus development program is evaluating the use of proprietary bioelectric signals before, during or after PRF application. This bioelectric-enhanced PRF approach is intended to create a coordinated regenerative environment by combining autologous PRF with signaling pathways associated with circulation, collagen support, elasticity, cellular repair and tissue renewal.
Lionheart Health is studying whether bioelectric conditioning can enhance or extend PRF-supported tissue responses. These potential combination benefits remain investigational and require confirmation through appropriately designed clinical studies.
Reported SkinStim™ Findings
In an in-vitro study summarized in the company’s May 24, 2022 results report, human skin cells were stimulated for 60 minutes on each of three days. RT-qPCR analysis reported increases in messenger-RNA expression associated with:
- Elastin: 18%
- Collagen I: 35.4%
- Collagen III: 44%
- Klotho: 420%
These laboratory findings measured changes in gene expression in cultured human skin cells. They do not establish equivalent changes in protein levels or clinical outcomes in patients. (lionheartlongevity.com)
The same report presents several individual clinical case studies evaluated with an A104 photographic skin analyzer. Reported observations included:
- A 51-year-old woman receiving three 45-minute sessions weekly for two weeks showed increases in comparative analyzer scores for spots, wrinkles and sensitive areas.
- A 60-year-old woman receiving three 45-minute sessions weekly for four weeks showed an increase in a wrinkle-related analyzer score from 21% to 33% and a texture-related score from 18% to 23%.
- A 41-year-old woman receiving one 45-minute session weekly for four weeks showed an increase in a wrinkle-related score from 29.8% to 40.2% and a sensitive-area score from 29.8% to 35.1%.
- Additional cases reported improvements in selected wrinkle and pigmentation measurements after two to four weeks.
The analyzer scores compare an individual’s measured skin condition with that of a same-age reference population; higher scores represent a more favorable measured condition. Future studies are intended to assess both the full multimodality program and its individual components, including bioelectric-enhanced PRF, bioelectric stimulation, red light, PEMF, EMS toning, placenta extract serum, KlothoSkin™ serum, topical exosomes and selected peptides.
The company emphasizes that the reported clinical observations are early case studies rather than randomized, controlled trials. The complete SkinStim™ Plus combination has not yet been proven safe or effective through adequately powered, controlled clinical studies.
