How It Works

The Joint Health Protocol is structured as 80–90 minute sessions performed twice weekly for 6–12 weeks, with each session combining multiple regenerative modalities for maximum effect.

Intake and Baseline Testing

Your first visit includes comprehensive assessment with knee pain VAS score, KOOS (Knee Injury & Osteoarthritis Outcome Score), range of motion and gait assessment, quad and hamstring EMG activation testing, and optional ultrasound imaging of joint space to establish baseline measurements and track progress.

Bioelectric Knee Regeneration Session

Each signal runs for approximately 3 minutes with pads placed medial, lateral, and posterior to the knee using comfortable, sub-sensory low-intensity microcurrent.

Bioelectric-Enhanced PRF Injection

Performed once weekly, this optional but recommended treatment draws patient blood, spins it for Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF), places the PRF tube on a microcurrent plate (Lionheart PRF Enhancer) with Klotho, IGF-1, VEGF, SDF-1, and Follistatin signals for 6 minutes, then injects the enhanced PRF into the affected knee (intra-articular and peri-tendon if needed). This process enhances growth factor potency, improves stem cell recruitment, and increases anti-inflammatory and repair signals inside the joint.

Red Light and PEMF Synergy

This 15-minute treatment combines red light therapy (630–660 nm and 810–850 nm) applied for 10–12 minutes to the entire knee capsule and quadriceps insertion to increase mitochondrial ATP, reduce inflammation, and improve tissue repair. PEMF therapy follows with 5–10 minutes of low-frequency field (10–30 Gauss) to improve circulation, reduce swelling, and enhance nutrient transfer.

Anti-Inflammatory Ointment Application

A 3-minute therapeutic application uses Klotho-supporting peptides (Lionheart formula), Arnica or Boswellia, Magnesium MSM cream, and Curcumin transdermal preparations. The technique involves 2 minutes of circular motion over the joint line and 1 minute over the quad tendon area for maximum absorption.

BodStim™ EMS Klotho and Follistatin Boosting Exercise

This 10-minute session is performed after passive therapies for maximal uptake. While wearing the BodStim knee and quad configuration, you’ll perform assisted mini-squats, step-ups, resistance band leg press, terminal knee extensions (TKEs), and optional slow reverse treadmill walking. The bioelectric EMS signal uses Klotho-boosting patterns, Follistatin/myostatin-reducing patterns, and 20–40 Hz blended EMS for strength, resulting in improved neuromuscular activation, better stability, superior joint loading mechanics, and maximized signaling for repair.

Home-Care Regimen

Daily support includes an optional bioelectric home unit for 20-minute nightly knee microcurrent with Klotho, SDF-1, and IGF-1 programs.
