KlothoCell™ — Heart Regeneration: Building upon the Leonhardt’s core team earlier clinical experience with regenerative cell therapy for damaged myocardium, the MyoCell and MyoCell SDF-1 program formed a foundation part, and learning base, for Lionheart’s broader strategy for cardiovascular regeneration and heart-failure research. Lionheart Health has built on this original program to create new entirely new technology based on a klotho expressing cells in nutrient hydrogel platform with daily delivery supported by bioelectric stimulation controlled protein expressions.
KidneyCell™ — Kidney Regeneration: KidneyCell research investigates bioelectric and regenerative approaches intended to support renal tissue repair and kidney function, with particular interest in the relationship between kidney health, Klotho biology and systemic aging.
BladderCell™ — Bladder Health: Investigational programming is being developed to evaluate bioelectric signaling and regenerative pathways for bladder function, tissue health and neuromuscular control.
EyeCell™ — Vision and Retinal Health: Early clinical research involving the EyeCell program has reported improvement in 68.7% of treated eyes, stability in 18.8%, and a combined 87.5% non-decline rate in an early dataset of 16 eyes, with selected subjects achieving gains of up to four lines in best-corrected visual acuity.
VascuStim™ / Tisugen™ — Vascular Regeneration: Lionheart’s vascular programs combine bioelectric signaling with regenerative technologies under investigation for improving circulation, stimulating vascular repair and supporting angiogenic and tissue-regeneration pathways.
HairCell™ — Hair Regeneration: Early HairCell clinical experience has reported approximately 16.7% improvement in hair density at four weeks and approximately 30% at 12 weeks in selected subjects. The expanding HairCell Plus™ platform combines programmable bioelectric signaling with complementary regenerative modalities.
SkinStim™ — Skin Regeneration: SkinStim investigates bioelectric signaling of regenerative proteins and complementary modalities intended to improve skin quality, collagen-related pathways, circulation and tissue rejuvenation. Lionheart is developing SkinStim Plus™ as an integrated regenerative-aesthetics platform.
ErectiStim™ — Male Sexual Health: Investigational bioelectric programming is being studied for its potential to support circulation, vascular health, tissue regeneration and functional improvement associated with male sexual health.
TestiStim™ — Testicular and Hormonal Health: Lionheart is evaluating targeted bioelectric approaches intended to support testicular tissue health and regenerative signaling pathways associated with healthy endocrine and reproductive function.
ImplantStim™ — Implantable Regenerative Bioelectric Stimulation: Lionheart’s implantable micro-stimulation research represents a next-generation approach designed to provide localized, programmable stimulation of regenerative pathways, including potential Klotho expression and stem-cell homing.
BreatheStim™ — Lung and Respiratory Health: BreatheStim is being developed as a non-invasive bioelectric research platform directed toward respiratory function, pulmonary tissue health and regenerative signaling.
EarCell™ — Hearing Regeneration: EarCell research is investigating targeted stimulation of pathways associated with cochlear repair, neurotrophic signaling, hair-cell regeneration and synaptic health, including BDNF, Klotho and other regenerative signals.
Second Brain™ — Gut-Brain and Immune Health: Lionheart’s Second Brain program investigates bioelectric and multimodality approaches directed toward the gut-brain axis, microbiome, inflammation, immune function and systemic healthy-aging pathways.
OrthoStim Plus™ — Joint and Musculoskeletal Regeneration: Early OrthoStim clinical research has reported approximately 40%–65% reductions in pain, 35%–50% improvements in WOMAC measures and 12%–22% improvements in six-minute walk performance in selected subjects. OrthoStim Plus™ expands the platform by combining bioelectric signaling with complementary regenerative modalities.
A Common Biological Strategy: Stimulating the Body’s Own Regenerative Signals
Rather than developing a single Klotho intervention for a single organ, Lionheart Health is pursuing a broader platform strategy centered on controlled bioelectric modulation of endogenous regenerative biology.
The company’s research evaluates Klotho alongside complementary signaling targets involved in tissue repair, neuroplasticity, vascularization, muscle maintenance, inflammation control and stem-cell recruitment.
The long-term objective is to determine whether combinations of programmable bioelectric signaling, exercise stimulation, regenerative biologics and other complementary technologies can produce measurable improvements across multiple hallmarks and functional consequences of aging.
“Our hypothesis is that healthy longevity will ultimately require treating the body as an interconnected system rather than addressing aging organ by organ,” Leonhardt said. “Klotho may be one of the most important coordinating signals within that system. Our work is focused on developing practical technologies capable of repeatedly stimulating regenerative biology and then measuring the results.”
Two Lionheart Presentations September 19
The published Klotho Conference agenda includes two consecutive Lionheart-related presentations on Saturday, September 19:
11:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EDT — Howard Leonhardt:

Lionheart Octopus™ and BioLeonhardt Whole Body Regeneration Chamber
Lionheart Health will also present two of its most ambitious next-generation regenerative medicine platforms under development: the Lionheart Octopus™ Multiple Organ Regeneration System and the BioLeonhardt Whole Body Regeneration Chamber, described by the development team as a “womb for adults.” The Lionheart Octopus™ is being designed as a multi-organ regenerative platform capable of coordinating targeted delivery and bioelectric stimulation across multiple tissues and organ systems, with the long-term goal of activating Klotho expression, stem-cell homing, vascularization, tissue repair and other regenerative pathways in a controlled and programmable manner. The platform is intended to integrate Lionheart’s experience in bioelectric signaling with emerging cell, biologic and localized regenerative-delivery technologies.
The BioLeonhardt Whole Body Regeneration Chamber is an earlier-stage research and engineering concept intended to bring multiple regenerative modalities into a single controlled environment. The “womb for adults” concept is being designed to investigate combinations of programmable bioelectric stimulation, Klotho-focused regenerative signaling, red and near-infrared photobiomodulation, pulsed electromagnetic fields, neuromuscular stimulation, oxygenation and other complementary regenerative technologies. The long-term vision is to create a highly monitored environment capable of simultaneously supporting brain, cardiovascular, muscle, vascular, kidney, immune, skin and other tissue-rejuvenation programs rather than addressing aging one organ at a time.
Engineering development of these next-generation concepts has received support through the University of California, Irvine Capstone Engineering Program, which has provided engineering resources for Lionheart-affiliated regenerative technology development. Both systems remain under development and are intended as research platforms; specific therapeutic applications will require appropriate preclinical, clinical and regulatory evaluation.
“The Lionheart Octopus and Whole Body Regeneration Chamber represent where we believe regenerative medicine can ultimately go—away from isolated interventions and toward coordinated, measurable, multi-organ regeneration,” said Leonhardt. “Our long-term objective is to create an environment that gives the adult body many of the regenerative signals associated with development and youthful tissue repair, while precisely measuring the biological response.”
