Sleep better. Recover stronger. Wake ready for life.
Overview
The Lionheart Sleep Testing & Optimization Protocol™ combines personalized sleep assessment, BodStim™ enhanced exercise, healthy sleep habits, and selected at-home technologies to support restorative rest and daytime vitality.
Our approach begins by identifying what may be disrupting your sleep—from stress and irregular schedules to snoring, breathing disturbances, pain, or medication effects—then builds a coordinated plan around your needs.
Key Benefits & Goals
-
Improve sleep consistency, comfort, and perceived sleep quality.
-
Support daytime energy, concentration, and exercise recovery.
-
Identify sleep concerns requiring medical evaluation.
-
Build sustainable exercise and evening relaxation routines.
-
Track progress and adjust your program using symptoms and relevant measurements.
How It Works
1. Test, Track & Understand
Begin with a clinician-led review of sleep patterns, snoring, daytime sleepiness, medications, and lifestyle. A two-week sleep diary and validated questionnaires establish your baseline. Where appropriate, your clinician may arrange a home sleep apnea test or an overnight laboratory sleep study. Consumer sleep trackers provide supplementary trends; they do not replace diagnostic testing. Sleep studies can identify sleep apnea and its severity.
2. BodStim™ Enhanced Exercise—An Integral Foundation
BodStim™ exercise anchors the movement component of your personalized sleep program, combining supervised EMS-assisted activity with appropriate strength, mobility, and aerobic exercise.
Sessions are progressively introduced according to fitness, medical screening, device instructions, and recovery needs. Schedule training during the daytime and adjust timing if evening exercise disrupts sleep. Regular daytime physical activity supports healthy sleep; whether BodStim™ adds sleep benefits beyond exercise itself remains to be established.
3. Restore Your Daily Sleep Rhythm
Build a consistent wake time, regular daytime outdoor light exposure, and a calming evening routine. Keep the bedroom cool, dark, and quiet; reduce evening bright light; and review caffeine, alcohol, late meals, and nighttime fluid intake. Persistent insomnia warrants access to cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), a recommended first treatment for chronic insomnia. Supplements are considered individually after reviewing need, interactions, and medical history.
4. Personalize Your At-Home Sleep Toolkit
Selected options from the Lionheart Health Optimization Shop include:
-
NextSense Smartbuds: An EEG-sensing option with sleep-stage tracking and sound stimulation designed to support deep sleep. Consider for patients interested in additional sleep insights.
-
Luna Plus: An auricular stimulation device offering sleep and relaxation modes, with compatible wearable integration for tracking wellness trends.
-
NoctIQ Smart Anti-Snore System: A smart pillow designed to detect snoring and gently adjust head position, with app-based snoring reports. Persistent snoring or witnessed breathing pauses require clinical assessment.
-
RTT MEDI CES Ear-Clip Sleep Support Device: A compact microcurrent option for a clinician-approved relaxation and pre-sleep routine.
-
The Night-Audio Sleep Mask: A simple comfort option for reducing distractions and listening to calming audio or guided meditation.
Products are selected according to individual needs, suitability, and response. Electrical stimulation devices require screening and use according to their labeling. These wellness tools do not replace prescribed sleep apnea treatment or CBT-I.
What to Expect
The proposed initial program spans 8–12 weeks, beginning with baseline assessment and a personalized plan. Follow-up reviews assess sleep timing, awakenings, daytime sleepiness, exercise tolerance, and patient-reported improvement. Diagnostic findings guide specialist referral and treatment when needed.
Ideal For
Adults experiencing inconsistent sleep, difficulty winding down, unrefreshing rest, snoring, or reduced daytime energy—and those seeking to make sleep and recovery a stronger part of their longevity routine.
Emerging Breathing Technologies: ArchStim™ & BreatheStim™
Lionheart Health’s ArchStim™ and BreatheStim™ are better-breathing technologies in early-stage research and development, with potential future applications in sleep quality and nighttime breathing comfort. These programs reflect Lionheart’s integrated approach to breathing, recovery, and longevity. Their safety, effectiveness, and potential sleep benefits have not yet been established; they remain investigational and do not replace sleep testing or prescribed treatment for sleep apnea.
